Holiday Club - Day Booking Available
Holiday Club is a mixed ability session of fun sailing with our most flexible booking; You can book sailing either by day or full week!
The focus of these sessions is creating a fun environment for particpants to get out on the water, build their confidence, and make lasting friendships.
Our qualified instructors will run a range of sessions and games to help your child develop skills in sailing, and higher confidence in outdoor adventure.

Youth National Sailing Scheme
Stage 1+2Youth Stage 1 + 2
This is the first step in our Sailing Pathway, introducing complete beginners to the basic concepts of sailing. Throughout the week, sailors will work towards the RYA Stage 1 and 2 qualifications. By the end of the week participants will have a range of sailing skills and knowledge and will be well on the way to being a confident and independent sailor. |
Stage 2+3Youth Stage 2 + 3
Working towards RYA Stage 3, this course teaches sailors everything they need to know to launch, rig and sail a single-handed dinghy independently in all directions. It is a brilliant intermediary course between Stages 1 & 2 and 3 & 4 for sailors who feel they haven't had enough practice or want to recap Stage 2 again before going onto Stage 3. |
Stage 3+4Youth Stage 3 + 4
Working towards RYA Stages 3 & 4, this course teaches sailors everything they need to know to launch, rig and sail a dinghy independently in all directions. Upon completion of the course, sailors will feel comfortable and confident sailing doublehanded boats independently, and be equipped with sailing navigation and planning knowledge. |
Young SailorsYoung Sailors
Young sailors is a one week course aimed at ages 7-9 to introduce younger beginners to sailing. Sailors will work towards the RYA Stage 1 qualification and parts of RYA Stage 2. This is a slower paced course than Stage 1+2 with more focus on fun, building confidence and a love of sailing! |
Advanced modulesSeamanship Skills and Sailing with Spinnakers
During the week, sailors will work toward two RYA advanced modules. Seamanship Skills is an essential module for those looking to develop their independent sailing, or moving on to the Instructor Pathway. The module develops proactive thinking, and self-reliance afloat, with advanced boat handling skills, such as using balance to steer. Sailing with Spinnakers teaches students the basics of Spinnaker Sailing to add more thrills to their downwind sailing. Performance Sailing
This action packed week, led by an Advanced Dinghy Instructor, will focus on sailing performance boats faster and more efficiently in all conditions. The course will focus on our Performance boats: RS200s and ILCAs. Enhanced spinnakers work and better hiking technique will be a key focus. |
Race CoursesStart Racing
This is a fantastic course to introduce sailors into racing and earn their RYA Start Racing qualification. Participants will work on becoming comfortable on the race course through sessions focusing on boat handling, starts & pre-start strategy, better tacking & gybing, upwind & downwind sailing, use of rules & tactics. Club Racing
A course designed to build on current basic racing skills, while working toward their RYA Clib Racing Qualification. Participants will improve the key principles of: Line bias and the first beat, stopping and hovering, roll tacks and gybes, adapting the rig and sail settings. |
Squad week
Squad Week
New for 2026, this course is designed to create a fun and competitive environment for talented racers to develop their skills. The course is intended as a fun week for members of Wembley race squad to develop their skills during the holidays (new racers also welcome!) and will be run by an experienced race coach. |
