Powerboat Level 1
For youth students only
Minimum age: 8 Introduction to boat handling and powerboat safety Single day course ending in an endorsement that indicates young drivers can use power craft under supervision |

Pre-requisite for ICC and Dinghy Instructing
Minimum age: 12 Introduction to boat handling, safety and seamanship Ages 12-15 get a endorsement PB2 and can only use power craft under supervision |
Safety Boat
Reccomended for instructors and safey duties
Minimum age: 16 Covers practical rescue techniques for different water users, and theory of safety duty stategies. |

ICC
The ICC stands for International Certificate of Competence. This is effectively an international boat driving licence, so you can drive on holiday.
The RYA Powerboat Level 2 (PB2) qualification satisfies the practical element of the ICC up to 10m, which you can apply for through the RYA.
