Corona Virus Update
19 March 2020
Here at Wembley sailing club we have been carefully monitoring the Covid-19 outbreak particularly in respect of the health of our members and taking into account RYA and government advice.
Measures being taken.
We have made the decision to cease all organised racing and events at the club until at least the 30th of April.
The clubhouse will be closed during this period.
All club duties are cancelled.
The site will remain open for those who would like to sail privately owned boats but this will be entirely at your own risk. We strongly advise against this as the club rescue boats cannot be sanitised so will not be available and there will be fewer people at the Harp. Changing must be done at home or outside as the changing rooms have not been sanitised and will not be cleaned throughout the closure.
This situation will be continually reviewed as the crisis continues.

Future training courses
If you have booked a training course with us due to take place during the closure you will receive a voucher code to transfer the course to a later date. Those booked on Wembley junior courses will receive a refund. We are hoping to resume training from May onwards and are still accepting bookings from this period, including our summer sailing camps. We will review whether or not this is possible as the situation evolves.
As the club has fixed costs it needs to expend we would ask you still to pay your 2020 renewals. Your help in this matter will be greatly appreciated.
