Wembley Juniors is part of Wembley Sailing Club for children from age 8 and over (nearly 8 is OK) to learn to sail and take their sailing skills further. We are based at the Welsh Harp Reservoir, a mile long stretch of water that straddles the boroughs of Brent and Barnet. Wembley Sailing Club is a non-profit club, any surplus is invested club facilities.

If your child can sail
Wembley juniors sail every Sunday morning. All sessions are free of charge. There is always an instructor on hand to help improve your sailing skills and a safety boat on standby. We sail Laser Picos, a boat widely sailed throughout the UK, which can be sailed both single or double handed.

If your child has never sailed
The Harp Sailing School (part of Wembley Sailing Club an RYA approved training centre) teaches RYA Stage 1, a two-day course, which is the ideal introduction to sailing. Stage 1 will give them the skills to sail with the Wembley Juniors on Sunday mornings. Wembley juniors can then take further advanced RYA courses up to stage 4. Parents and children can learn to sail together with the The Harp Sailing School, parents in RS Visions and children in Laser Picos.
